Some Las Vegas residency and show announcements - this year promises to be exciting as KISS is slated to make a comeback for the first time in two years on November 14 to 16 at Virgin Hotels, and on top of this, the Eagles soar high once again as the band announced another residency at the Sphere for September.
Legendary rock band KISS is proving once again that farewell tours aren’t always final. The iconic hard rock group, who achieved their peak in the ‘70s and are known for their larger-than-life stage presence and devoted fan base, will return to the stage for the first time in approximately two years at 'KISS Army Storms Vegas.' This special 50th-anniversary fan celebration is set to take place from November 14 to 16 at none other than Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
The event marks KISS's first live performance since officially retiring from tours in December of 2023. According to an email sent to subscribers of the official site of the band, the upcoming performance will be a unique experience, as the band will appear without their signature makeup. "This exclusive, 'everything KISS' paradise marks the first time KISS has performed together since retiring from touring," the email stated.
Adding to the excitement, former guitarist Bruce Kulick will also make a special live appearance. Kulick, who played with the band from 1984 to 1996, is set to deliver a solo performance rather than a full-fledged reunion with his former bandmates.
A rock and roll experience for devoted fans
True to form, KISS is offering fans more than just a concert - it's an immersive experience. Vibee from Live Nation has curated a series of exclusive Experience Packages, ensuring that diehard fans can celebrate in true KISS fashion. These packages include a stay for three nights at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, an unmasked photo opportunity with the band, Q&A sessions with band members, and access to the KISS Unmasked live show. Attendees will also enjoy a variety of KISS-themed panels, activities, a special KISS Army Storms Vegas gift, and finally, a signed poster.
For those eager to secure their spot, VIP members of the KISS Army will have pre-sale access beginning at 7 am PT on Thursday, March 27. Non-VIP KISS Army members will follow on April 2, Wednesday, while general public ticket sales will open on April 7, Monday, at 7 am PT.
The Eagles extend Sphere residency
KISS isn't the only legendary band extending its farewell. The Eagles, who wrapped up their The Long Goodbye concert tour 18 months ago, have added four additional performances to their residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The newly announced shows, set for September 5, 6, 12, and 13, bring their total number of Sphere performances to 36.
Given their strong ticket sales and ongoing collaboration with Sphere owner James Dolan, it appears the venue may remain a long-term home for the Eagles. The newly added dates will go on sale at 10 am PT on Friday, March 28.
Reports indicate that the Eagles' performances are being filmed for an upcoming Sphere concert film, making them the second act to receive this treatment following U2's V-U2.
With rock legends like KISS and the Eagles continuing to defy retirement and delight fans, Las Vegas is once again proving itself as the ultimate destination for music lovers. Whether it's a KISS Army reunion or another round of classic rock anthems at the Sphere, these upcoming events promise unforgettable experiences for dedicated fans.
