In spite of this minor drop, the year-over-year data indicates a robust and growing market, with a substantial 34% revenue increase when compared to June of 2023, when the revenue was $25.4 million.

DraftKings dominates Connecticut's online casino market

Since the full launch of Connecticut's online casino and sports betting market in October of 2021, only two online casinos have been operational: Mohegan Sun and DraftKings, with Mohegan Sun being run by FanDuel. These platforms offer players a wide array of gaming options, including the ubiquitous slots, table, and live dealer games, making them popular choices among Connecticut residents.

But DraftKings maintains its dominance in the online casino market in the state, reporting a total gross revenue of $17.4 million for June. Following closely behind is FanDuel with $16.1 million.
