Ever since joining the two Los Angeles teams, Russell Westbrook’s career has been quite on a downturn, and many fans even say that his game is already a shadow of its former glory. And yet, his first season with the Denver Nuggets is showing a bigger growth that he’s seen in a couple of years.

And while Westbrook is getting back to his usual programming of posting stat lines near triple-doubles, it does seem that there is also a huge increase in the parlay bets for Westbrook to post impressive stat lines in the game. Considering the fact that he is playing with another stat monster in Nikola Jokic, the odds of pulling off the same run can be quite hard to achieve.

But with the way Westbrook is playing right now, it does seem that fans can expect to see more from the star guard as he hopes to redeem his worth on the big stage and show that he still has what it takes to play well on the big stage and even create a shot for him to win a title.

Westbrook on the High Side

Russell Westbrook’s numbers haven’t been really been quite impressive ever since he ended his run with the Washington Wizards, and we have all known how his run with both the Lakers and the Clippers turned out to be. Those were four years of disappointing runs – while playing alongside a total of five superstars in the game.

Westbrook played with LeBron James and Anthony Davis from 2021 to 2023. Westbrook would be later traded to the Clippers, bringing him to play with former teammates in James Harden and Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard as the fifth star he played alongside with in Los Angeles.

Now playing alongside Jokic, who is one of the triple-double machines of the NBA so far, Westbrook was doubted to thrive alongside him, and yet they have managed to become the first duo in the league to have multiple triple-doubles in the same game more than once in a single season.

If you are not impressed, Westbrook flirted with a triple-double on his next game after that historic night, notching 21 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks while shooting at an efficient 10 of 17 from the field in a win against the Dallas Mavericks.

Up for Some Westbrook Parlays?

Betting on Westbrook on parlays is nothing new for many experienced bettors. Over the years, Westbrook has managed to notch massive triple-doubles and has even managed to set the record for the most in history. He is the only player to reach 200 triple-doubles so far, and this says a lot about how his game is getting back on track once more.

This season, Westbrook is averaging 13.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. That is already a promising stat line for a player who was brought in to be a reserve guard for the team. Now more than ever, the volume of parlay bets on Westbrook has increased at a bigger level, and it is safe to say that there will be more to come as the season progresses on a grand scale.

For now, fans are expecting to see more from Westbrook, and as he continues to stabilize his game while also helping the Nuggets get a promising look at their chances for the playoff stage now more than ever.
