Just when we thought we’d evaluated and analyzed all the social casinos in the realm, we find that there’s one more that has somehow escaped our radar, and this social sweepstakes casino might very well be a valuable addition to the bunch (we’re crossing our fingers as we write!). Loyal Royal first opened its doors in 2022, and according to our sources, it shut down just this year, 2024 - and according to another source, it has since reopened and is now known as Ruby Sweeps. But it doesn’t really matter if one or the other is true - we’ll still be discussing its offerings.

As we’re sure you are aware of by now, Loyal Royal is a social/sweepstakes casino. What does this imply? This essentially implies that Loyal Royal casino does not follow the traditional online casino structure where you can risk real money. Rather than letting you bet your hard-earned bucks, you can use virtual currency – in the form of Loyal Coins or Royal Rubies - to play the casino-style games at Loyal Royal. Furthermore, because it’s a social sweepstakes casino, you cannot win real money directly – rather, you are given the chance to redeem your collected Royal Rubies for cold, hard, cash. You can also earn those Royal Rubies through other means – you can play games, for instance, and there are times that you can win sweepstakes games that will give you real cash prizes that you can redeem.

But wait – we’re sure you’ve heard all that. The more interesting – and important – question on our minds is, is Loyal Royal casino a scam? We’ve heard it all before, and we’d be the first to tell you if a social casino is all that it should be. From all indications, things are looking swell for Loyal Royal, and it seems it follows the precepts of what a social sweepstakes casino should be, especially in these United States. But how did we come to this conclusion, and is legitimacy the only aspect to consider? Read on as we divulge the secrets of Loyal Royal – and tell you once and for all if it’s a doozy or a disaster.

An overview on Loyal Royal

Loyal Royal social casino first entered the picture in 2022, and it is owned by JBC Investments. It classifies itself as a social casino catering to 48 of the 50 US states. Because it’s a social sweepstakes casino, it offers its myriad of games for free – and that means anyone can play without having to deposit any money, although the catch is they will not get real-money prizes, either. And because it’s a social casino, Loyal Royal operates using two virtual currency equivalents to the so-called Sweeps Coins and Gold Coins: Loyal Royal has Loyal Coins and Royal Rubies.

Loyal Coins can be comparable to Gold Coins in other social casinos, and Royal Rubies are the sweepstakes coins you will find on social casinos as well. You can play any game using these coins, but Loyal Coins have no actual value outside the social casino, while Royal Rubies, much like Sweeps Coins, can be exchanged for real cash prizes.

Everything looks like it should be – so is there a catch? Let’s find out more about Loyal Royal.

Log-in anomalies

First of all, let us just warn you: we found it strange that there seems to be two websites for Loyal Royals. The first website, loyalroyalscasino.com, redirected us to an entirely new website, 1wvrr.com/casino, when we attempted to sign up. What makes things weirder is that the new platform, 1wvrr.com/casino, looked more interesting than the original website! It looked more advanced as well, and had fishing games, live casino games, drops & wins, and more. It even had some famous slot games such as Zeus by Hacksaw, Penalty Shoot-Out by Evoplay, and First Person Roulette by Evolution. So that’s that, right? Wrong. Because according to our research, there seems to be another Loyal Royal website, and the website is named play.loyalroyalcasino.com, and when you click on it, you will be redirected to a WOW Vegas registration form.

We can’t make heads or tails about this mystery, and we’d be the first to admit: it raises some questions and deepens the mystery about the Loyal Royal platform. Needless to say, it’s the first real red flag we’ve seen so far, and we have a distinct feeling it won’t be the last. It got us thinking that since Loyal Royal presumably closed down just this year (2024), the WOW Vegas version may be the replacement.

The Loyal Royal game arsenal

At first, we had to do a double take, because the game arsenal at Loyal Royal left much to be desired. To put it plainly, there are only a total of 16 casino-style games at Loyal Royal. This isn’t much at all, and what’s more, there are no table games. All the available games on the Loyal Royal roster consist only of slot games, except for one video poker game. We took a long, hard look at the games presented, and were surprised to learn that there are actually 28 games (although Loyal Royal itself said it has 16 – go figure). Anyhow, we did find some interesting titles, such as Twin Spin Megaways from NetEnt, Starz Megaways from Pragmatic Play, Rich Diamonds: Hold and Win from Playson, Candy Paradise from Slotland, Bar King Deluxe from Leander Games, and Candy Bars from IGT. It was reassuring to find these software provider names, especially IGT and NetEnt, but the majority of the games were developed by Leander Games and Pragmatic Play (which is also a trusted game software developer in its own right).

You can also play the slot games in two modes: free-play and premium modes, which means that for the free-play mode, you can use the Loyal Coins, while for premium mode, you can use Royal Rubies, and you can get these coins for free through different ways.

A look at the welcome bonuses and other bonuses and promotions at Loyal Royal

According to Loyal Royal casino itself, they have an existing welcome bonus, and you can avail of the no deposit bonus of 2,000 Loyal Coins plus 2.5 Royal Rubies once you have verified your account and done the necessary registration. Unfortunately, we didn’t find any Loyal Royal casino gift code, but the bonuses apparently don't stop there, because lo and behold, there is another bonus – a first purchase deposit bonus of 50%. It seems that there is a bonus code for this, but Loyal Royal doesn’t indicate where this can be found. But let’s dig deeper.

If you make it a point to return and play a game or two at Loyal Royal, you can take advantage of other promotions and bonus offers. These are as follows:

  • Daily Match Play – This bonus offer is available every day (but only once per day), and it gives you a generous match play bonus of 25% just by entering the code FIRST.
  • Daily Spin the Wheel – This bonus is reminiscent of many other social casinos, and with it, all you have to do is log in to your account and spin the wheel once you are on the platform in order to get a daily bonus. For this, you are guaranteed to receive 100 Loyal Coins and maybe even receive .25 Royal Rubies if you’re extra lucky.
  • Social Media Giveaways – All you have to do to get a bonus on social media is follow Loyal Royal on its various social media channels, be it Facebook, Instagram, or even LinkedIn. You can also join different random giveaways to get more coins and prizes. (Incidentally, upon visiting the Loyal Royal Facebook page, we saw that its last post was in February of 2023).
  • Weekly Bonuses – When you have received your Loyal Royal casino no deposit bonus, there are other weekly bonuses also available at Loyal Royal, and you can claim these bonuses throughout the week.

What other reviews have to say about Loyal Royal

There weren’t that many reviews about Loyal Royal, which was also quite concerning. One review even went so far as to say that it didn’t recommend Loyal Royal casino at all. This was because there were some concerns raised by players about payouts. Additionally, there is conflicting information on its welcome bonus. We have stated that the welcome bonus consists of 2,000 Loyal Coins and 2.5 Royal Rubies – and we got it straight from the Loyal Royals casino login platform itself - but one review stated that the welcome bonus is 5,000 Loyal Coins and 5 Royal Rubies. Aside from this, another review mentions that Loyal Royal only accepts credit cards and doesn’t accept other deposit methods like eWallets or bank transfers. Also, the verification process at Loyal Royal is somewhat lengthy, and you are requested by the site to verify your identity through a photo ID.

Is Loyal Royal casino as legit as can be?

When everything has been said and done, we all have one final, glaring question on our minds: is Loyal Royal casino as legit as can be? While we may have some minor questions about the platform, we can honestly say that Loyal Royal appears legit in the most important ways. For one, it is legit because it is a social sweepstakes casino and doesn’t really need a license for it to operate, even in the United States, where it is allowed except for two states (Idaho and Washington), and it is also legit because it doesn’t attempt to hide who its owners are and where they are based (its owners are JBC Investments, LLC, and this company is based in Georgia).

Loyal Royal seems to operate following the requirements under the law of social sweepstakes casinos, and there are no major security or safety concerns raised by its patrons. In fact, the only strange aspect we’ve found are the platforms where it seems to operate, and we still can’t decide if the platform is the first or second one we’ve seen. Nevertheless, both platforms seem legit.

But again, we can’t discount what people have been saying about Loyal Royal – one, that it’s closed, and secondly, that it’s not recommended because of an issue with payouts. There seems to be too many concerns or issues that we can’t ignore, and it doesn’t matter if Loyal Royal is legitimate or not. We’d like a social casino that we spend time on to be more consistent, to tell you the truth.

Our honest advice to you, if you’re really looking for a social casino to play in, is to find other reliable, reputable, and consistent sites. While Loyal Royals seems to be legitimate, we can’t say the same about other issues on the platform. There are so many social casinos to choose from nowadays that you won’t miss this one.
