Fans have expected to see the likes of the Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Dodgers, and even the New York Yankees sit at the top of the league by this point in time, but it seems that only a few experts have accounted for the Orioles to make this kind of push in the season.

This is the first time that the Orioles have managed to reach that win total as early as August since 1979, and it is a no-brainer that reaching 70 wins at this point is already 18 more than their win totals in 2021, and 23 more than their total in 2023.
