Eagles vs Bears Preview and Parlay Picks

The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles will meet in the City of Brotherly Love for a Black Friday special.

Chicago has been one of the best stories in football this season, entering the matchup at 8-3. First-year head coach Ben Johnson has been as good as advertised, guiding the Bears to first place in the NFC North as November wraps up. Former first overall pick Caleb Williams leads the offense with 2,568 passing yards, 16 touchdowns and four interceptions.

The Eagles also enter the game at 8-3, sitting atop the NFC East. Philadelphia will look to bounce back from a stunning loss to the Dallas Cowboys, a game it once led 21-0.

Despite the setback, everything remains in front of the Eagles. They hold a 2 1/2-game lead in the division and have the tiebreaker over the current first-place team, the Rams. Jalen Hurts leads the Eagles with 2,284 passing yards, 25 total touchdowns and just one interception.

Eagles Moneyline (-340)

This is a strong bounce-back spot for Philadelphia at home on Friday.

The Eagles defense has been dialed in this season, ranking eighth in points allowed per game (20.5). Philadelphia is expected to have a strong game plan to slow down this Bears offense, which has shown inconsistency at times.

Chicago has been shaky defensively, ranking 26th in scoring defense. With the talent on Philadelphia’s offense, the Eagles are expected to find rhythm and score consistently in this matchup.

According to Evan Abrams, teams that blew a 7+ point lead entering the fourth quarter on the road — like the Eagles last week — are 37-25 straight up (SU) and 36-25-2 against the spread (ATS) in their next game since 2017. Jalen Hurts is also 30-4 SU as a favorite when playing at home.

A.J. Brown 5+ Receptions (-115)

There is solid value on this play at the current number.

Philadelphia has made it a point to get Brown more involved in the passing game. Last week against the Cowboys, he hauled in eight catches for 110 yards.

The veteran wideout has 15 receptions over the last two weeks and will be a key part of the Eagles’ game plan against this Bears defense.

The Action PRO Report projects Brown for five receptions.
