In his fifth selection as an All-Star starter, Doncic is slated to play heavy minutes in the upcoming All-Star Game. While the Dallas Mavericks have struggled to come up with some wins, it seems that Doncic is enjoying his own groove this season especially with the squad upgraded by their key additions in the trade deadline. That has allowed him to take his game to the next level with the second half of the 2023-24 season coming up.

As a first-time starter, it seems pretty much clear that Haliburton is representing the Indiana Pacers much the same as how Lauri Markkanen was named a starter in the previous year. Except the fact that Haliburton himself is playing at a high level, it does seem that he can pull off a spectacular performance for the Eastern Conference and earn his way to an MVP finish by the end of the game.

Considering how OKC has been successful this season, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander deserves all the recognition he can get when it comes to his games. This is the first time that SGA has been selected as an All-Star starter and his second overall selection in the All-Star Game. He is also one of the top picks for this season’s MVP race for his impeccable performances in the season.

As OKC continues to impress this season, SGA has led the way with season averages of 31.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists while also leading the NBA in steals with 2.2 per game. His two-way game has been quite impressive this season, and as a starter, it is easy to expect him to get more minutes and earn his way into the All-Star MVP.

A two-time MVP and a first-time NBA Champion and Finals MVP, Nikola Jokic has every right to dream of a chance to win the All-Star MVP this year. Selected six times since 2019, the Denver Nuggets MVP seems to be a great favorite to win the MVP award in the All-Star Game should he step up his play – which hasn’t been the case in his last five selections.

Winning the All-Star MVP is not a priority for him, but it would be fun to watch him try for that award.
