As you may already know, a casino and hotel such as Golden Nugget Atlantic City also has a wide range of attractions and amenities that extend beyond the gaming and casino floor. For one, it offers various accommodations including suites, ensuring that its guests can fully immerse themselves in luxury and enjoy their stay at Golden Nugget. Aside from the well-appointed rooms and suites, Golden Nugget provides other services that include a Golden Nugget Atlantic City pool, bars and restaurants, a broad selection of entertainment venues, and a whole array of exciting events every month.
But what we noticed about Golden Nugget is its more affordable accommodations. The hotel offers a more intimate, personalized stay, unlike the bigger hotels on the Boardwalk, which accounts for a more relaxing vibe. The Golden Nugget has a grand total of over 700 guest rooms and suites, and each of these rooms and suites feature WiFi, air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and all the usual accoutrements you can expect in any luxurious hotel room. It also has a salon and spa and a fitness center, perfect after a long day at the casino floor or out and about savoring the sights and sounds of Atlantic City.
Hotel
Golden Nugget Atlantic City has one of the most luxurious and comfortable accommodations in the heart of Atlantic City, and it has newly-renovated rooms featuring new color palettes, new furnishings, refurbished bathrooms with larger showers, new pathways and corridors, and more. Since Golden Nugget is by the Marina, guests can spend time right by the water. Its hotel has a AAA Four Diamond rating, and all rooms are equipped with an in-room safe, WiFi, key system, movies on demand, a refrigerator, and an iron plus ironing board.
All hotel guests can have access to the fitness center and the rooftop pool (seasonal). There are also ADA accessible rooms which come with a low-access bed, a low bathroom countertop, a roll-in shower or bathtub equipped with handrails, shower benches, and toilet seat risers.
The hotel rooms at Golden Nugget Atlantic City consist of the just renovated Premier City View King Bedroom, the Premier Bay View King Bedroom, the Premier City View Double Bedroom, the Premier Bay View Double Bedroom, the Premier Accessible Bedroom, the Premier Junior Suite, and the Premier Marina Suite.
Along with this, Golden Nugget has several Luxury Rooms, including the King Room and Double Bed Room, the Bay View Room, the Double Bed Bay View Room, and the Queen Accessible Room.

Spa & Salon
The Spa & Salon offer the perfect way to revitalize and rejuvenate with their blend of treatments and spa and salon packages. The treatments range from couple’s massages and bath rituals to body scrubs and facials, hair care, waxing, and manicures. The salon and spa are open every Thursday to Monday from 10am to 6pm. Note: if you wish to get a spa or salon treatment, it is best to book an appointment in advance. You can call the spa and salon at (609) 340-5001 or (800) 777-1177. If you avail of a spa treatment, you can have free access to H20 Pool and Bar on the day of your appointment.
The Spa offers a 20% discount on any service every Friday, and it also offers $115 Fall Spa Specials at the time of this writing. Additionally, 24 Karat Club members can avail of certain perks, such as 10% off for entry-level club members, 15% off for Chairman members, and 20% off for Elite members.
Fitness Center
The fitness center is incorporated within the Spa, and cardio equipment includes elliptical cross trainers, treadmills, upright cycles, and recumbent cycles. There is also a four-stock body system gym that enables guests to fully workout their arms, chest, back, shoulders, and legs. The fitness area is free to all hotel guests and is open 24/7, while non-hotel guests can visit it every Thursday to Monday from 10am to 6pm. Non-hotel guests are required to pay a $10 fee for every visit. They can also get a day pass worth $40 to gain access to both the fitness center and the Spa.
Pool
The H20 Pool is open only during the summer season. The hot tubs are open daily from 11am to 7pm, but it will close on the 27th of October for the season as well. The pool is located on the rooftop of the 6th floor, and there are cabanas, conversation areas, fire pits, and daybeds where you can lounge around and get some sun. The pool is also beside the H20 Bar. Be reminded that children are not allowed in the shallow (baja) pool or the hot tubs. Hotel guests can access the pool for free, and marina guests can also have free access to up to 4 guests per day. Meanwhile, if you are a non-hotel guest, you can still access the pool by purchasing a day pass, which costs $25 per person. All the pool guests must be 16 years old or older if they come after 2 in the afternoon.
Restaurants
The number of restaurants at Golden Nugget Atlantic City are nothing short of astounding, and these dining establishments serve up everything from seafood specialties at the Chart House to Mexican fare at Dos Caminos.
There are a total of nine Golden Nugget Atlantic City restaurants, and these are as follows:
Vic & Anthony’s
Vic & Anthony’s, one of the most famous steakhouses in America, serves grain-fed beef and boasts the best wine selection around. It is open from Mondays to Saturdays starting at 5pm, and you are strongly advised to make a reservation. Vic & Anthony’s also serves Happy Hour from 4pm to 7pm at the bar and Lounge. Important: there is a dress code, and guests are advised to come in an upscale dress code – that means no shorts, no gym attire, no beachwear, no athletic apparel, no tank tops, no caps or hats, and no flip flops.
The menu includes appetizers like tuna poke, caviar, lobster bisque, specialty cuts of filet mignon, prime bone-in ribeye, and shrimp scampi.
Chart House
Chart House serves excellent seafood specialties and steaks, prime rib, and a to-die-for lava cake. The restaurant is open every Wednesday to Sunday from 4pm, and guests are advised to make a reservation by calling (609) 340-5030. The Chart House also serves Happy Hour every day from 4pm to 6pm. Must-tries are jumbo shrimp cocktail and crab cake.
Dos Caminos
Dos Caminos is another popular restaurant in Golden Nugget Atlantic City, and guests can sample delicious Mexican specialties such as tacos and enchiladas along with a broad selection of signature cocktails and of course, tequilas. It is open from Thursday to Monday and the dining room opens at 3pm and closes at 10pm every Sunday to Monday and 12am every Friday and Saturday. Dos Caminos also serves Happy Hour from 3pm to 6pm. We particularly liked the taco salad, birria, and sizzling fajitas. Guests can make a reservation and call Dos Caminos at (609) 441-8475.
Lillie’s Asian Cuisine
For those who want Asian cuisine at its finest, you can dine at Lillie’s Asian Cuisine. It is located on the gaming floor right next to the Asian gaming pit, and it serves both Japanese and Chinese specialties like sushi and sashimi, stir-fries, and noodle dishes. It also has quite an extensive Sake selection that’s worth a try. We recommend the maguro (tuna) sashimi along with Kalbi Korean short rib and the Kamikaze specialty roll. The restaurant’s operating hours are on Monday from 3pm to 10pm, Thursday from 4pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 2pm to 2am, and Sunday from 12pm to 10pm. Michael Patrick’s Brasserie
Michael Patrick’s Brasserie is a European-style brasserie serving French and American dishes, and its breakfast menu is a classic as well. The menu includes all-day breakfast fare such as eggs benedict and Belgian waffle, and it also serves pizzas, burgers, soups, and salads. Its signature sandwiches are a delight and highly-recommended, especially the Reuben. It is open every day except Wednesday. On Sundays and Mondays, the Brasserie is open from 8am to 9pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 9pm, on Fridays from 9am to 1am, and on Saturdays from 8am to 1am.
Bill’s Bar & Burger
If you are looking for delightful comfort food, then go to Bill’s Bar & Burger. It was once voted the Top 10 Best Burgers in America on CNN, and it has its roots in New York City. Every burger, fry, and shake at the resto is made fresh every day. The menu at Bill’s Bar & Burger doesn’t have just burgers – although the burgers are the star, you should also sample the loaded nachos, the fish sandwich, and the Salted Caramel Bliss shake, which has pretzel and caramel pieces. The place is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 9pm and on Sundays from 12pm to 8pm. You can call them at (609) 340-5193.
The Deck Bayfront Bar & Restaurant
The Deck Bayfront Bar & Restaurant is also closed for the season. When it’s open, guests can dine and drink at the water’s edge, and it has theme nights every week.
Although we regret to inform you that Golden Nugget Atlantic City buffet was closed a few years ago, the many dining options should be enough to satisfy every appetite and palate.
H20 Bar & Grille
H20 Bar & Grille is open on Friday and Saturday from 11am to 7pm. It is located on the 6th floor, overlooking the Marina and the bay, and you can order snacks and light bites and a bevy of beverages. It is only open seasonally. Guests who are below 16 years old cannot enter after 6pm, and children below 18 years old have to be with an adult from 11am to 6pm.
Bean & Bread
Bean & Bread at Golden Nugget specializes in snacks and quick bites, and it serves freshly-brewed coffee, bagels, paninis, salads, desserts, and fresh fruit. It is open Monday to Thursday at 7am to 7pm, Friday and Saturday at 6am until 11pm, and on Sunday from 6am to 7pm.
Dining
There are several dining options for guests who are craving authentic fare, be it for some comfort food fries and burgers or delicious steaks. Room service is available for all hotel guests from Fridays at 4pm to 1am, Saturdays at 8am to 1am, and Sundays at 8am to 9pm. There is no room service from Monday to Thursday. The hours when room service is available are subject to change as well.
You can order from an extensive menu that includes breakfast (don’t forget to try the Jackpot, which is two eggs and buttermilk pancakes served with bacon and turkey sausage), three egg omelets, patisserie bread (croissants, muffins, and Danish bread), Asian cuisine, gourmet burgers, starters, soups, salads, sandwiches, and even specialties like Filet Mignon and Chicken Milanese.
If you want sandwiches, packaged food, and snacks to go, you can visit Essentials 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Bars and Nightlife
The bars at Golden Nugget Atlantic City offer the best drinks and cocktails, and you can choose from the Rush Lounge to the Wave Bar and Bar 46. The Wave Bar guests can groove to the music while savoring drinks and cocktails. It has a great sound and lighting system and an LED video wall, and it also has a Veranda, a covered space outdoors complete with comfy seats, giant jenga, fire pits, and corn hole. Bar 46, on the other hand, is open daily and features one of Atlantic City’s biggest selections of liquor. The Rush Lounge, meanwhile, is a special lounge where guests can drink and mingle while playing video poker, blackjack, or roulette. It also offers live entertainment and is open from 4pm to 12am every Monday to Thursday, 4pm to 2am every Friday, 12pm to 2am every Saturday, and 12pm to 2am every Sunday. The famous Deck Bayfront Bar and Restaurant is closed for the season.
Shopping
Golden Nugget Atlantic City may just have the best retail shopping outlets in Atlantic City with its Retail Corridor. If you love shopping, the Retail Corridor is for you. It features plenty of shops and stores selling everything from sunglasses to boating gear to innovative apparel. In addition, the Corridor has some exquisite food and jewelry stores that cater to every preference.
Docksider Ship Shop
The Docksider Ship Shop has everything you could ever want when you visit the water, whether it’s snacks and drinks or boating supplies and souvenirs. But be aware that it’s also seasonal.
Essentials 24 Hour One Stop Shop
The Essentials 24 Hour One Stop Shop is a convenience store specializing in all you may need. It sells everything from sandwiches to go to packaged goods, magazines and newspapers, sundries, and convenience items. It is located just at the Main Atrium and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Style & Trend
Style & Trend features fashionable clothing items for both men and women. It carries an array of well-known brands, such as Lacoste, Ted Baker, and Tommy Bahama, as well as Michael Kors, BB Dakota, and Brighton. It is open from Sunday to Monday from 10am to 8pm, Tuesday to Thursday from 12pm to 8pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 10pm.
Other shops at Golden Nugget
The Retail Corridor at Golden Nugget also has other exclusive shops and boutiques, including d’Oro (for timepieces and jewelry), The Chocolate Box (for gourmet hand-made chocolate truffles), and Signature Liquors for a wide selection of beers, spirits, and wine.
Parking
When it comes to Golden Nugget Atlantic City parking, there is a self-parking option at Golden Nugget Atlantic City, and guests can self-park for a $10 fee. However, Chairman, Elite, and Billionaire Club card holders and members can park for free every day. The same is true for US Active Duty and US Veterans – all they need to do is show their status and identification at the Casino Cage or the 24k Select Club. In addition, Premier Cardholders can park for free every Sunday to Thursday.
Non-cardholders can also spend at least $50 at any retail outlet, restaurant, or the Spa and salon to validate self-parking on the date itself. They cannot use comp dollars nor can they combine food receipts. Hotel guests can validate their parking upon checking in.
If you want to avail of a valet parking service, note that it is priced differently every weekend. The fees for valet parking on Mondays to Thursdays are $10, while on Fridays to Sundays, it is $15. Moreover, prices may change depending on the hours or season.
Active Events
There are a host of promotions and events at Golden Nugget Atlantic City, although it’s best to remember that these events and their corresponding dates are subject to change without prior notice. For instance, one event that is a big hit every Monday is Bingo Bonanza, and it just started in October 2024 but anyone can join the game every Monday at 1pm and 5pm at The Grand. In addition, Chairman and Elite cardholders are entitled to one free entry for themselves and a guest. 24K members must earn 50 Tier Credits in order to play.
Another ongoing event is Tier Match to a Chairman’s Card, and it is valid for both new and inactive 24K Select Club members. All Club members have to do is provide a qualifying player’s card from a competitor (such as Borgata, Bally’s, Caesars, Hard Rock, Resorts, Live, Parx, River Casino, Valley Forge, or Wind Creek), and Golden Nugget will tier match this card to its Chairman’s Card.
Golden Nugget also has an ongoing promotion for every Sunday in October 2024 called Tiered Tier Credit Multiplier where 24K Select Card members can simply play at their favorite table game or slot machine and receive 2x the Tier Credits (for 24 Karat and Premier members), 3x Tier Credits (for Chairman members), and 4x Tier Credits (for Elite members). There is also a promotion of 1:1 Comps, where every time you earn Comps at the Golden Nugget, you can use them towards accommodations, the Spa & Salon, or any retail store or restaurant on the property.
